Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time RN experience in an acute care facility.
• Current California RN license and BLS certification.
• Spanish bilingual ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize and provide nursing care per physician instructions.
• Assist physicians with treatments, examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Administer medications and document patient progress and changes.
• Counsel patients and families on health issues and care plans.
• Provide orientation and training to staff and students.
• Participate in quality assurance reviews and lead teams when needed.
• Coordinate patient care across hospitalization and discharge processes.
