Job summary

The County of Riverside’s Riverside University Health System (RUHS) seeks an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager – MC/CHC for the Emergency Room in Moreno Valley. This supervisory role reports to a director and oversees operations and programs within assigned nursing units, providing 24/7 care across multiple units.

The ideal candidate will hold a California RN license, a BSN, and at least three years of nursing experience, including one year as a charge nurse or lead.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum three years of RN experience with one year in charge/lead capacity.
• Knowledge of nursing processes, supervision, and policy application.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise nursing services across units; assist in staff recruitment and evaluation.
• Develop and ensure compliance with standards of care and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance to staff on policies, procedures, and training.
• Serve as on-duty charge nurse or supervisor as needed.
