Job summary

Michigan Medicine's IPOP unit seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care within a cell and gene therapy program. You will educate patients, coordinate admissions and support multidisciplinary teams in an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years or more of RN experience.
• Two (2) or more years of recent hematology/oncology RN experience.
• Two (2) or more years of cellular therapy/BMT RN experience.
• Two (2) or more years of ambulatory care infusion experience.
• Experience with IV insertion.
• BSN
• OCN/BMTCN certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the IPOP unit, including patient education.
• Coordinate hospital admissions from IPOP.
• Assess patient needs, plan, implement and evaluate care; educate patients and families.
• Administer therapies including IV hydration, blood products, chemotherapy, biotherapy and immunotherapy; manage daily needs during admission.
