Job summary

Connecticut Children's in Hartford Township seeks an experienced leader to oversee the development and maintenance of ambulatory care information systems. You will direct planning, design, development, implementation, training and ongoing evaluation to ensure clinical workflows align with professional standards.

You will provide direction for ambulatory information system functions across the organization, translating clinical practice into effective computer applications and leading governance

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance aspects of planning, design, development, implementation, training, maintenance and evaluating ambulatory care information systems.
• Provides direction for and management of ambulatory care information system functions throughout the organization.
• Utilizes knowledge and skills of clinical practice and clinical workflow to determine clinical functions suitable for computer application and to ensure information systems align with professional standards of clinical practice.
• Plans, designs, develops, implements and works with clinical governance structures to support changing requirements of acute care information systems.
• Reports to the Director Clinical Application Services.
