Job summary

Brown University Health seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient- and family-centered nursing care in an ambulatory setting. Under supervision, you will implement nursing plans, collaborate with physicians and health team members, and coordinate patient care across services.

You will also participate in education, quality assurance, and research activities while fostering a culture of compassion, accountability, respect and excellence in daily practice.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the State of Rhode Island as required by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or equivalent licensure.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; BSN is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients under supervision.
• Implement and coordinate steps of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, goal setting, intervention and evaluation.
• Delegate, supervise and coordinate nursing activities with licensed staff and other team members.
• Coordinate and document patient teaching and information for patients and families.
• Participate in quality assurance and research activities related to ambulatory care.
