Job summary

Brown University Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient‑centered ambulatory care under supervision of the Clinic Administrator or Physician.

You will implement the nursing process, coordinate care with the health team, educate patients and families, and participate in quality assurance and research activities. Rhode Island Hospital affiliation supports a comprehensive academic health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Current licensure to practice as an RN in Rhode Island or compact.
• Knowledge to provide care across aging, development, and cultural needs.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process and coordinate patient care with the health team.
• Implement prescribed regimens and evaluate patient response.
• Educate patients and families on health management and rehabilitation.
• Participate in educational, quality assurance and research activities.
• Delegate and supervise care provided by licensed staff and aides.
