Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Imaging Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for ambulatory care. You will administer patient care for patients who come for treatment and may return home the same day or receive post-acute transitional care.

The role requires a nursing degree, Florida RN licensure, BLS certification, and relevant ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC where required. You will participate in care planning, education, and clinical precepting of new staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida or NLC.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Promotes wellness, restores health, and supports end-of-life care in ambulatory care nursing.
• Precepts new hires as a clinical resource.
• Develops individualized care plans based on current ambulatory care nursing knowledge and evidence-based practice.
• Assesses patient needs and conducts age-appropriate care.
• Delegates, coordinates, and documents patient care including education and safety.
• Maintains patient safety and a safe, caring environment for patients and families.
• Participates in process improvements and committee work as assigned.
