Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a registered nurse to administer patient care in an ambulatory setting where patients typically return home the same day.

You will assess patients, develop individualized plans, educate families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, evidence-based practice across ages.

Requires graduation from an approved nursing program and Florida RN licensure with BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required for certain areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.
• Maintains current Florida RN licensure and BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient care in ambulatory settings with same-day discharge.
• Assesses patient needs and develops individualized plans of care.
• Educates patients and families and coordinates care with the healthcare team.
