Orlando Health Medical Group is seeking an experienced registered nurse to administer patient care in ambulatory settings. The role involves wellness promotion, planning individualized care, and coordinating treatments for patients returning home the same day or receiving post-acute care.

Responsibilities include precepting new hires, assessing patient needs, delegating tasks, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains Florida RN license or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• One year of experience required unless approved by director level or above.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC are required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Promotes wellness and patient safety in ambulatory care settings.
• Precepts new hires as a clinical resource.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and coordinate treatments.
• Delegate tasks to the healthcare team and document care.
• Maintain a safe, clean unit and uphold regulatory standards.
• Participate in department committees and quality improvement activities.
