Job summary

Jefferson University Physicians is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Nurse to join our ambulatory care team at Jefferson Health. The role focuses on delivering patient- and family-centered care, applying the nursing process, and collaborating with providers to meet diverse patient needs across the clinical settings.

The nurse will maintain current licensure in the state of practice, participate in team huddles, and contribute to quality improvement and safe nursing practice in the ambulatory

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Must maintain a current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of ambulatory care nursing concepts and patient education principles.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process in ambulatory care settings.
• Collaborate with clinic care providers and support staff.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and disease management.
• Document interactions and care in EMR per standards.
