Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; six years of hospital health-care program development experience or
• Master’s degree with five years’ experience at the indicated level; demonstrated skills in written and medical communications;
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Participates in policy development and program implementation for ambulatory care services.
• Coordinates ambulatory care standards and indicators with work groups.
• Reviews progress of facilities toward system goals and priorities.
• Assists in preparing budgets for ambulatory care including personnel, supplies and equipment.
• Maintains liaison with city/state health departments and related agencies.
• Reviews legislation and regulations that affect ambulatory care delivery and reimbursement.
• Participates in meetings and special projects as a representative of Ambulatory Care Services.
• Serves as deputy for areas of functional responsibilities.
