Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals Gotham Health seeks a Director of Ambulatory Care Services to plan, develop, coordinate and monitor the administrative and financial aspects of its ambulatory programs. You will oversee internal management and, in the director’s absence, act as acting director.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with seven years of healthcare admin experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree with eight years in admin/healthcare.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates Central Office policy development and hospital program implementation for ambulatory care.
• Reviews and analyzes progress of ambulatory care facilities against goals and standards.
• Coordinates financial, administrative and capital facilities activities for program development.
• Prepares personnel, supply and equipment budgets for ambulatory care services.
• Supervises internal office functions and operations.
• Leads meetings, conferences and seminars as a representative of Ambulatory Care.
• Undertakes special projects and assignments as directed.
• Serves as deputy for areas of functional responsibilities.
