Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Must possess a current unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts.
• Ambulatory physical therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patient PT needs; develop diagnosis and treatment plan to maximize function.
• Demonstrate competency in clinical knowledge and skills for assigned care area.
• Consult with health care team to ensure coordination and effectiveness of therapies.
• Assist in triaging, prioritizing, admissions, referrals, and discharges.
• Manage a patient caseload and document progress.
• Participate in department meetings and continuing education opportunities.
• Supervise aides, students, and other staff as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
