Patient First in Virginia is seeking a licensed practical or registered nurse to provide ambulatory care and to support physicians in emergencies. You will administer medications, screen patients, and ensure a warm, professional atmosphere for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Employee must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Keyboarding experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Nurse in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Implementing Patient First's policies and procedures.
• Offering quality nursing care and generating a warm atmosphere for patients and staff.
• Providing nursing care in ambulatory settings to individuals and families.
• Using sound judgment when administering medical care and screening patients.
• Administering medications and knowing dosage, actions, and side effects.
• Assisting the physician in all emergency cases.
• Providing positive, warm customer service in interactions.
• Fostering teamwork and a professional atmosphere.
• Completing other duties as directed.
