Jefferson Health ambulatory clinics seek a professional nurse committed to patient- and family-centered care. The RN uses the nursing process, collaborates with providers, educates patients, and documents care in the EMR per HIPAA guidelines.

A current PA nursing license is required to join this dynamic ambulatory care team. The role emphasizes cultural sensitivity, effective communication, and ongoing professional growth within a supportive, interprofessional environment, including team huddles

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Preferred BSN or completion within 3 years of hire.
• Ability to work in ambulatory care and collaborate with a clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing interventions using the nursing process in ambulatory clinics.
• Collaborate with providers and staff for patient care planning.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and disease management.
• Document interactions and care in the EMR per standards and HIPAA.
• Coordinate care, triage, and manage injections/vaccinations as needed.
• Participate in team huddles and quality improvement activities.
