Anna Jaques Hospital, a proud member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Medical Office Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our ambulatory care team and support providers in delivering compassionate patient experiences. Under the direction of the Practice Manager, the LPN provides clinical, technical, and administrative support, collaborating with physicians to ensure efficient, patient-centered care.

This role emphasizes rooming patients, vital signs, and assisting during visits.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts LPN license is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist providers during patient visits, including testing, immunizations, and follow-up care.
• Manage medication and imaging prior authorizations.
• Review and follow up on lab results.
• Process medication refills per protocol and manage electronic refill requests.
• Respond to provider requests within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Coordinate safe, organized care for patients and families.
• Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
• Build strong, professional relationships with patients and team members.
• Support compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
