Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a Clinical Practice Assistant to support both administrative and clinical tasks at the Malden Care Center. You will help manage patient flow, greet patients, handle calls, and schedule visits using Epic.

The role requires a high school diploma or MA program graduation, with BLS certification preferred. English communication is essential; a second language is a plus. This is a full-time position at CHA Malden team sites.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program or one year of MA experience in lieu of program completion.

Responsibilities

• Actively and efficiently manage the flow of patients through the clinic.
• Greet patients, answer the telephone professionally, and take accurate detailed electronic messages.
• Schedule patient appointments electronically (Epic).
• Perform insurance verifications and room patients; assist providers with medical histories.
• Document in the electronic health record and check routine vital signs and point-of-care testing.
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and book screening tests and follow-up appointments.
• Participate in population health activities via MyCHArt messages and templated letters.
• Other duties as required.
