Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking an experienced Nursing & Medical Assistant supervisor to oversee Cardiology and Anticoagulation staff and related operations. You will ensure productivity, safety, and quality of patient care while managing daily activities and staffing needs.

The role requires BSN, RN licensure, and at least two years of nursing experience with supervisory responsibilities; ambulatory care and triage experience are preferred. Travel to offsite locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN required.
• Current MA State RN nursing license.
• Two+ years of nursing experience with supervision preferred.
• Experience in ambulatory care and telephone triage.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily department operations ensuring compliance and goal adherence.
• Delegate staff assignments and oversee scheduling and staffing needs.
• Oversee budgeting, purchases, and inventory; ensure equipment maintenance.
• Promote safety culture; report incidents and follow corrective actions.
• Train, evaluate, and develop staff; lead huddles and team meetings.
