Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an Ambulatory Abdominal Transplant Clinical Pharmacist to support kidney, pancreas, and liver patients in a multidisciplinary Abdominal Transplant Clinic. Responsibilities include leading medication therapy, education, and collaboration with surgeons, nephrology, hepatology, APPs, and support staff.

The role emphasizes safe and effective pharmacotherapy in pre- and post‑transplant populations, living donor care, and participation in protocols, education, and research

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts.
• Board Certification preferred; within 18 months of hire.
• ASHP‑accredited PGY1/PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Residency or Fellowship preferred.
• Experience in transplant pharmacy is advantageous (2–3 years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead education for patients and healthcare professionals in the transplant program.
• Contribute to protocols, guidelines, quality improvement and research projects.
• Provide direct patient‑centered care and integrated pharmacy services with the care team.
• Precept pharmacy residents and students (MGH Pharmacy Residency program).
