Job summary

AMR is hiring full-time Paramedics to deliver advanced patient care to our customers in the United States. We’re looking for professionals who are passionate about compassionate, high-quality service, with a strong commitment to patient well-being.

This role offers a salary between $57,200 and $69,212 per year, depending on experience. You will assess each call, operate medical equipment such as defibrillators and EKG monitors, communicate with patients and families, lead on-scene operations,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Kansas Paramedic certification or eligible for Kansas certification.
State Driver’s License required.
BLS and ACLS required on hire; PALS preferred but not required.
Driving record compliant with company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test.
Some work experience, preferably healthcare.

Responsibilities

Assess each call situation to determine best course of action with Paramedic protocols.
Use Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator and EKG monitor.
Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
