Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care. This is a full-time Paramedic position offering a salary range of $57,200.00 - $69,212.00 per year depending on experience.

Responsibilities include assessing calls, operating medical equipment such as defibrillators and EKG monitors, and leading Paramedic teams. You will drive 911 ambulances and coordinate with health and safety personnel.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Kansas Paramedic certification or eligible for Kansas certification.
  • State Driver’s License.
  • BLS and ACLS required upon hire.
  • PALS is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
  • Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and IV fluids.
  • Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance of care.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
