Qualifications

• Obtain necessary EMS certifications and maintain ongoing training.
• Read, write and document patient information in WV EMS record system.
• Ability to lift, push and assist with patients and equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation sessions and EMS operations training.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe ambulance transport per protocols and command direction.
• Operate EMS equipment and vehicles and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls and stand-by duties at events.
• Maintain professional appearance and decorum; work in a team-based structure.
