Job summary

EmergyCare Inc. seeks an Ambulance Billing Specialist to execute all functions of the billing cycle and process patient account transactions in accordance with established guidelines.

The role requires meticulous data entry, handling of first and third party billing, and timely posting of accounts receivable. You will respond to patient inquiries and requests for information from patients, payers, or others, while assisting with insurance payments and related matters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year certificate from college or technical school or 3–6 months related experience.
• Prior experience in medical terminology and/or billing with a medical insurance background preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute all functions of the billing cycle and process patient account transactions.
