Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of corporate and transactional experience at a comparable law firm
• Strong background in public company work, registered equity offerings, SEC representation, and M&A
• Life sciences experience is helpful, but not required if your interest in the sector is real
• Someone who can work well with a team but also own substantial parts of a transaction without hand-holding
• Strong academics, solid judgment, and bar admission in the relevant market, or the ability to get admitted quickly

Responsibilities

• You’ll work on corporate transactions for venture-backed private companies and public companies in the life sciences space, including:
• Equity financings
• IPOs and other registered offerings
• Ongoing SEC reporting and public company representation
• M&A transactions
• You should expect to run meaningful pieces of deals, work directly with clients, and handle more than checklist execution
