Job summary

Indiana University Health System is seeking a Part Time Nutrition Services worker at West Hospital. You will serve, transport, and take orders for food and supplies, delivering courteous, high‑quality service to patients, family members, and physicians, while safeguarding food safety and sanitation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serves, transports, and takes orders for food and supplies while providing a high level of satisfaction for a varied customer base. The customer base includes patients, family members, and physicians. Provides quick, accurate, and courteous service and resolution of customer concerns. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.

Candidate Requirements:

• No experience required.
• Requires ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Also, requires lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling.

Candidate preferred:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of the CBORD system relative to job responsibilities preferred.
