Job summary

USA Dutch, Inc. is seeking a dependable operator to set up and run an Amada CNC press brake, bending metal to precise specs. The candidate should be familiar with tooling, maintain safety standards, and adhere to the production schedule.

The role requires following job travelers, documenting parts and spare parts usage, and ensuring finished pieces meet quality requirements while coordinating with shipping and QA teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Amada CNC press brakes preferred.
• Safety training awareness is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Amada CNC press brake for scheduled jobs.
• Follow directions on the Job Traveler and adhere to the production schedule.
• Ensure parts meet customer quality standards; report issues to Shift Manager or QA.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; manage production paperwork and housekeeping.
• Document spare parts taken from bins and ensure correct shipping location for finished parts.

Job description

The Amada HRB 2204 is a high-performance, 243-ton hydraulic press brake capable of bending parts up to 12 feet long

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Setup / Operate Amada CNC Press Brake
• Familiar with Tooling
• Experience working with all types of metals
• Safely operate assigned Amada Press Brake using the proper techniques and methods.
• Properly and efficiently setup the Amada Press Brake for each scheduled job.
• Follow all directions as noted on the Job Traveler
• Ensure that all parts processed on assigned Press Brake meet the customer required quality level. All issues must be reported to Shift Manager and / or Quality Assurance personnel.
• Maintain the proper housekeeping around the assigned Press Brake. Empty trash from your assigned table at the end of every shift.
• Follow daily production schedule as noted on the Scheduling Board and communicate any delays to the Programmer / Scheduler.
• Complete all production paperwork for each job that is cut on the assigned Waterjet cutting table.
• Properly document all spare parts that are taken from the Parts Bins.
• Ensures that all completed parts and associated Travelers are taken the proper Shipping Location for final review

Physical Effort

Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds.

Must be able to prioritize own workday schedule.

Recommended Training/Education

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Experience in a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Safety training including but not limited to Hazardous Communication, Lockout Tagout, Eye Safety, and Fire Evacuation
