Job summary

Paycom in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Warehouse Associate for 1st shift. You will replenish lines, rotate stock, interpret product dates, and stack products safely while operating forklift, pallet jack, and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Replenish depleted pick line with next available product and maintain rotation.
• Rotate product according to freshness and dates; interpret product code dates.
• Ensure all products are properly stacked and labeled.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high accuracy in daily tasks and provide excellent service to customers and vendors.
• Assist with order building and warehouse cleanliness as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Replenish depleted pick line with the next available product while maintaining proper rotation.
• Rotate product in accordance with the freshness, product code dates and rotation policies as set by Anheuser-Busch and other suppliers
• Learn, interpret and apply product code dates in accordance with policy
• Ensure all products are properly stacked
• Operate warehouse machinery safely (i.e. Forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker etc) and efficiently according to company policy
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy while performing job duties
• Provide exemplary customer service to external/internal customers and vendors
• Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner
• Other duties as assigned

Non Essential Functions:

• Assist with order building as needed
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse
• Assist with other daily tasks including out of code processing and close to code.
• Assist with customer pick-ups

Qualifications:

Working Conditions:

Temperature/Climate

• This position will constantly be in a climate-controlled environment (60-68 degrees) and Occasionally in an outdoor (covered) environment

Safety Considerations

• This position will routinely drive forklift trucks (Constantly), pallet-jacks and other cleaning equipment (Occasionally)

Personal Protective Equipment necessary

• Steel-toed boots/shoes with skid-proof soles may be required
