Prosegur is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for the Irvine, CA area. This part-time AM shift role focuses on maintaining a safe environment, monitoring access points, and delivering professional customer service.

The position requires a valid CA Guard Card, a high school diploma or GED, and 1 year of security experience. Training and ongoing safety procedures are provided to ensure reliable protection for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Minimum 1 year security experience.
• Minimum 1 year CCTV monitoring experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid CA Guard Card.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and reliability.
• Willingness to participate in screening including drug and background checks.
• Capable of walking, patrolling, and lifting moderate weight.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
• Promote safety by observing and reporting hazards.
• Follow post instructions and client requirements.
• Participate in training and learn safety procedures.
• Interact professionally with clients and visitors.
• Perform routine foot patrols and access control.
• Monitor entrances and issue visitor badges as needed.
