Salary: $85,000 – $100,000, depending on experience (DOE)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated AM Production Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in overseeing purchasing, inventory management, production control, and general operations within our AM Division. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing comprehensive operational processes in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing:

  • Procure raw materials and hardware, maintaining optimal inventory levels.

  • Monitor and manage costs, ensuring accurate pricing and budget alignment.

  • Receive materials, approve invoices, and maintain meticulous records.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

  • Communicate material costs, trends, and delivery updates with the team.

  • Update and maintain accurate pricing in the EPM system and support RFQ processes.

  • Participate in weekly Level 10 procurement meetings.

Operations:

  • Track and report performance using the AM Scorecard (KPIs).

  • Ensure operational compliance with AISC and ISO 9001 standards.

  • Attend weekly AM Division and Project Management Level 10 meetings.

  • Oversee detailing operations and lead internal drafting coordination meetings.

  • Continuously develop and improve operational procedures.

Work Orders:

  • Review and release production orders to the shop.

  • Provide assistance with material, parts, and work order queries.

  • Issue purchase orders and manage inventory withdrawals.

Scheduling & Production Control:

  • Maintain real-time production reports in the EPM system.

  • Manage production schedules and facilitate weekly production meetings.

  • Keep project managers informed of current production statuses.

  • Support shipping and maintain accurate delivery records.

General Duties:

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities related to materials and maintenance.

  • Uphold and promote company values through adherence to policies and goals.

  • Perform diverse operational tasks as needed.

  • Champion continuous operational excellence.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing operations or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.

  • Experience with EPM/ERP software.

  • Familiarity with CNC equipment and manufacturing processes.
