Job summary

University of Dayton Research Institute in Dayton, OH, is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Production Planner to manage the production schedule, coordinate materials, and support aircraft and ground equipment programs.

The role reports to the Production Control Group Lead and requires a Bachelor’s degree and several years in logistics and ERP, with access to ISO9001/AS9100 context. The position is based at the ITOC facility with potential site collaboration in Dayton and Kettering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of related experience.
• 3 years of experience in logistics analysis and production planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in inventory management and control.
• 3 years of experience ERP configuration and utilization for resource planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient at using MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc) to track/present data.
• Experience creating and briefing production reports to senior leadership.
• Supplier Management experience
• Inventory and Inventory analysis experience
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid drivers license with low risk driving record.
• Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Manage the production schedule and supply chain.
• Coordinate shipments of parts to/from customers and vendors.
• ERP software administration and inventory management and related purchasing activities.
• Coordinate, compile, and facilitate periodic AM metrics reviews.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage special projects.
