Job summary

University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) invites qualified candidates for an Advanced Manufacturing Production Planner at the ATTC. This on-site role supports aircraft and vehicle sustainment tech development, reports to the Production Control Group Lead, and drives ERP-enabled scheduling, shipments, and inventory management across Dayton and Kettering.

Qualifications

Associate degree in business management, finance, operations management, engineering/technology or related field plus 8 years experience.
Experience in inventory management and control.
4 years ERP system configuration and utilization for resource planning in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to track data.
Experience creating and briefing production reports to senior leadership.
Experience in a Production Planning role in a manufacturing facility with ISO9001 or AS9100 quality system.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Valid driver's license with low risk driving record.
U.S. Citizenship due to federal government contract requirements.

Responsibilities

Manage the production schedule and coordinate shipments of parts to/from customers and vendors.
Provide inventory management support for materials, alloys, and site staffing across Dayton and Kettering.
Coordinate, compile, and facilitate periodic AM metrics reviews.
Plan and manage special projects as needed.
