Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington state is seeking an experienced manufacturing post-processing supervisor for additive manufacturing post-processing operations on the C/D shift. You will lead a team of technicians and machinists, set priorities, assign work, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

This role requires strong GD&T interpretation, in‑process inspection, and coordination with engineers, planners, and quality to meet build plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing operations experience.
• 1–3+ years leading technicians or machinists on off-shift operations or equivalent leadership.
• Proficiency reading engineering drawings and GD&T; experience with in-process inspection and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of post-processing technicians and machinists on the C/D shift; set priorities and assign work.
• Coordinate priorities with manufacturing engineers, planners, and quality to meet build plans and dates.
• Identify and remove blockers (nonconformances, stop-work, missing tools/fixtures, document errors).
• Enforce safety policies for metal AM post-processing (powders, fumes, PPE, lockout/tagout).
• Sustain 5S/visual management and ensure compliance with procedures and certifications (AS9100).
