Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a hands-on leader for its Additive Manufacturing post-processing team. You will lead C/D shift technicians and machinists, coordinate with engineering and quality to meet build promises, and enforce safety and lean practices across AM post-processing.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing, 1–3 years in a lead role, and experience with EDMs and bandsaws. Relocation is provided; a Friday–Sunday 5am–5:30pm shift is available in Washington state.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years in manufacturing operations.
• 1–3+ years leading technicians or machinists on off-shift operations.
• Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T with in-process inspection.
• Experience with EDMs, bandsaws, and basic machining is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of post-processing technicians and machinists on C/D shift.
• Coordinate priorities with manufacturing engineers, planners, and quality to meet build plans and dates.
• Identify and remove blockers such as nonconformances or missing tools.
• Enforce safety policies for metal AM post-processing and 5S/visual management.
• Maintain inventory records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
