Qualifications

• Willingness to complete at least 12 clock hours of annual training in Early Childhood Education.
• CPR and First Aid certifications must be current.
• Pass a standard physical and TB test and obtain state/mandated clearances for child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of student attendance for safety and accounting.
• Assist with program planning and interact with children individually and in groups.
• Involve children in planning and decision-making for activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting childcare environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed.
• Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality.
• Attend required meetings and pursue credentialing for program accreditation.
• Support safe movement of students within the childcare setting.
• Operate district technology and resources as needed.
