Job summary

Verde Clean is seeking a Lead Custodian to keep our facilities spotless and safe. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of janitorial experience and can help lead a small team while upholding safety and quality standards.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm. Pay: $19.00 per hour. We value safety, sustainability, and community impact, and offer growth opportunities and paid volunteer time.

• Know your way around cleaning tools and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Restock and refill restrooms and supply areas with paper goods, soap, and sanitizers.
• Identify and report hazards to ensure a secure environment.

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday; 6am - 2:30pm

What You’ll Do

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors, surfaces, restrooms, and more.
• Restock and refill restrooms and supply areas with paper goods, soap, and sanitizers.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1+ year in janitorial or custodial work preferred. Leadership experience a plus.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Know your way around cleaning tools and safety procedures. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Physical Requirements: Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
