Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in South Carolina is seeking an AM Kitchen Helper to support a warm, resident-focused dining program. You’ll prepare, stock, and maintain a fresh salad bar, assist in the dining room, and help keep tables and service areas tidy and safe.

No previous culinary experience is required; you’ll learn on the job. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 6:30am to 3:00pm, and you’ll be part of a family-owned, resort-style community with competitive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a consistent schedule: Sunday-Thursday 6:30am to 3:00pm.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• No previous culinary experience required.
• Able to obtain food handler permits within first two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine, monitor sanitation and log temperatures.
• Wash, store, and handle all tableware and kitchenware; keep dish room organized.
• Clean food prep areas and assist in dining room with bussing, water, tables, and room-service orders.
• Safely use ovens, steamers, grills and kitchen tools.
• Listen and respond politely to food comments or complaints and report concerns.
• Perform support work and other tasks, including trash removal.
