Job summary

NHC HealthCare Lawrenceburg is seeking a dependable Food Service Tech – AM Aide to join our dietary team. This part-time position offers potential to transition to full-time based on staffing and availability.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Availability to work the AM shift 5:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Previous food service or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary instructions.
• Prepare meal trays and help ensure meals are delivered accurately and on time.
• Assist with breakfast and lunch meal preparation, service, and cleanup.
• Assist with dining room setup and maintaining an organized dining environment.
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, storage, and food preparation areas.
• Properly store food and supplies and follow safe food handling practices.
• Follow sanitation, infection control, safety, and NHC procedures.
• Provide courteous service to patients, residents, families, visitors, and fellow partners.
• Assist the dietary team with additional duties as assigned.
