Job summary

Bath & Body Works, a Bath & Body Works LLC brand under L Brands, operates a central Ohio distribution center. The Operations Supervisor will lead daily department operations, cultivate a welcoming, positive, and productive environment, and act as the frontline link between business success and associate experience.

Located at the DC3 Morse Road Campus with a 7am–3pm schedule, this role emphasizes coaching, performance feedback, and cross-functional collaboration to drive omnichannel fulfillment

Summary

Our company-owned distribution and fulfillment centers located in central Ohio are core to our operations. We also use third-party distribution centers, third-party-operated direct channel fulfillment centers and pop-up fulfillment facilities as needed, located throughout North America, to better position inventory geographically. Construction was completed on our largest fulfillment distribution center in 2022, located in Commercial Point, Ohio. With more than one million square feet of space and innovation, this distribution center provides us with additional growth capacity for our direct business, an important part of our omnichannel organization.

The Operations Supervisor will have responsibilities for leading the daily operation of their department within the distribution center and creating a welcoming, positive, and fun working environment. Serves as the frontline connection between business success and associate experience through leadership of a non-exempt team while advocating Bath and Body Works values.
This position will be located at our DC3 Morse Road Campus, leading the Command Center (WCS/IC/BC). Hours are 7am - 3 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Uses understanding of the larger supply chain network to lead and drive departmental objectives.
  • Implements appropriate plans to achieve desired results in a timely manner.
  • Analyzes data and information to identify new opportunities for cost reduction and innovation; provides thoughtful recommendation & standard process solutions.
  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with the brand, cross-functional partners and key team members across the logistics network.
  • Spends majority of workday on the floor coaching and developing top talent by providing feedback on performance which is timely, specific and accurate; focusing on strengths and development opportunities.
  • Consistently motives, recognizes and rewards individual and team accomplishments.
  • Clarifies roles and responsibilities for each team member ensuring understanding and commitment to specific objectives and a collaborative work approach.
  • In partnership with the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, supports compliance and performance improvements pertaining to Safety and Regulatory expectations.
