Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc. is recruiting a Cook to prepare meals for residents in a safe, clean kitchen environment, following standardized recipes and menus. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation, and respect dietary modifications.

Safe food handling, temperature checks, and proper storage are essential. You will record quantities, maintain logs, and support dining services as needed while contributing to a positive resident dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
