Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of Southwest Austin is seeking a compassionate AM Caregiver to support seniors with in-home care, medication reminders, and daily activities. The role emphasizes empathy, safety, and independence for clients in the Austin area.

The position is Part-Time with flexible scheduling Monday to Thursday, serving clients on-site in Austin, Texas, with potential to assist additional clients in the Southwest Austin area. Training and meaningful caregiver relationships are prioritized.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help clients stay on track with prescribed medication schedules through timely reminders.
• Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
• Support safe mobility and assist clients with everyday routines and activities.
• Build meaningful connections by offering companionship, conversation, and emotional encouragement.
• Help with transportation, grocery shopping, errands, and other activities as needed.

Homewatch CareGivers of Southwest Austin is a locally owned and operated non-medical home care agency dedicated to helping older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home. We provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living, including personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, light housekeeping, and specialized support for individuals living with dementia, Parkinson's disease, and other chronic conditions.

Role Overview:

As an AM Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Southwest Austin, you will be responsible for improving the lives of seniors and adults through compassionate in-home care. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our office team to deliver reliable, individualized support that helps clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. You’ll have flexible full-time and part-time schedules available to suit your needs, primarily serving clients located in Austin with the potential for additional clients in other Southwest Austin locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with flexible scheduling available from Monday to Thursday.

This position is an on-site role based in Austin, Texas.
