Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Dripping Springs, TX is seeking an in-home caregiver to provide non-medical support, helping with daily activities, personal care, and nutrition in clients' homes.

Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands North Austin, you will be responsible for providing personalized, non-medical support services to our clients, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that individuals receive the compassionate care they deserve. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call, you’ll have the flexibility to choose a schedule that works best for you.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities.
2. Help clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
4. Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities.
5. Document and report any changes in the client's condition or needs.
6. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure clients receive holistic care and support.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English.
2. Compassionate attitude towards the elderly, disabled, and others in need.
3. Ability to follow care plans and procedures accurately.
4. Previous experience in a caregiving role is a plus, but not required.
5. Valid transportation and a flexible schedule to meet clients' needs.

Bonus If You:

1. Hold a certification in CPR or First Aid.
2. Have training in dementia care or other specialized support.
3. Possess a caregiving-related certification or diploma.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available both Full-Time and Part-Time, with flexibility across all days of the week including weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Dripping Springs, Texas.
