Job summary

Wake Forest Baptist is hiring a Clinical Studies Coordinator II to independently coordinate clinical research studies within the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. You will manage data, consent processes, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with two years of clinical research experience; SOCRA/ACRP certification preferred and CITI training on human subjects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with two years' experience in clinical research, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• SOCRA or ACRP Certification preferred; complete CITI Human Subjects Research training if not already done.
• Wake Forest Baptist research training (WakeOne) and related guidelines to be followed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute multiple clinical studies with minimal supervision.
• Assist in patient recruitment and obtain informed consent when applicable.
• Abstract data from medical records and complete case report forms accurately.
• Report adverse events and unanticipated problems as required by sponsor protocol.
• Maintain source documents and communicate data management issues promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement activities; mentor staff as needed.
