Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University invites applications for an Alumni Relations Officer for Lifelong Learning to develop and implement alumni programs, oversee virtual and in-person offerings, and build strategic partnerships with academic divisions and cultural institutions.

The role manages the Odyssey catalog, instructor recruitment, and coordination with Hopkins Edge, while supervising a graduate assistant and driving engagement among lifelong learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three years of related experience required.
• Experience may be substituted under the JHU equivalency formula.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to engage alumni through events, programs, communications, and volunteer activities.
• Implement strategic programs that foster relationships between alumni and JHU, and other students and alumni.
• Lead the planning of medium to large-scale events and initiatives; serve as the point of contact for alumni volunteers and speakers.
• Lead programs and committees; prepare colleagues, faculty, staff, or alumni for participation in events.
• Represent the DOFF and Johns Hopkins University at a variety of functions.
• Identify, recruit, train, steward, and recognize alumni volunteers.
• Engage alumni groups and organizations for support and collaboration opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure accurate alumni records and maintenance in the DAR CRM.
• Analyze alumni data, generate reports, and provide recommendations.
• Create, develop, and maintain relationships with alumni, donors, faculty, volunteers, guests, and colleagues.
• Lead special projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
