Job summary

Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, seeks an Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement to grow and support FAU's alumni networks, with emphasis on leadership development and volunteer engagement. This role partners with the Alumni and Community Engagement team to expand affinity, geographic, and professional groups.

The ideal candidate has strong relationship-building skills, experience in volunteer programs, and a passion for sustaining alumni involvement across FAU communities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or bachelor's with 4 years of experience.
• Experience in volunteer engagement, advancement/development, and/or alumni relations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and steward FAU Alumni networks (affinity, geographic, professional).
• Recruit, train, and manage 100+ volunteers for network leadership roles.
• Develop marketing plans and manage communications for alumni networks.
• Oversee budgets, sponsorships, partnerships, brand guidelines, social media, and data integrity.
