Job summary

The University of AZ Foundation in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Assistant Director, Alumni and Engagement Experiences to oversee planning, coordination, and assessment of alumni events that strengthen donor relationships and involvement.

You will lead event design, logistics, budgeting, staffing, and post-event reporting, collaborating with campus partners, volunteers, and colleagues to deliver high-impact engagement programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree AND two years of directly related non-profit higher educational experience.
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Proficiency in the use of constituent relationship management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a portfolio of alumni and engagement experiences.
• Coordinate logistics for events: invitations, site selection, seating, vendors, and budgets.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align programs with university priorities.
• Ensure guest accessibility and accommodations.
• Lead staffing at events and train volunteers.
• Prepare post-event reports and budgets.
• Travel to offsite events as needed.
• Support special projects and other duties.
