Job summary

Adams State University in Alamosa, CO is seeking a Program Manager of Alumni Relations to support the Director in engaging alumni, students, staff, and the broader community. This role coordinates events, communications, and volunteer programs to foster involvement across the ASU network.

Reporting to the Director of Alumni Relations, you will plan and execute the annual calendar of alumni programming, train volunteers, and manage Raiser's Edge data for outreach and event logistics, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 4-6 years relevant experience in alumni relations, event planning, or fundraising.
• Proven experience in planning, managing, and executing events and engagement initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collegially with a wide range of internal and external constituencies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute alumni events and programs (homecoming, reunions, donor events).
• Research venues, menus, rooms, catering, and related paperwork with the Director.
• Arrange travel for department personnel and manage confirmations and receipts.
• Manage Raiser's Edge attendance, class notes, and alumni contact data; take event photos.
• Oversee the University Mascot Program and student performers.
• Develop communications for events via email, direct mail, social media, and Raiser's Edge.
