Job summary

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is seeking an Alumni Engagement Coordinator to lead alumni engagement initiatives within the Alumni Office. The role focuses on planning major events and activities aligned with strategic university goals.

You will manage alumni programs, support fundraising efforts, and coordinate with staff to implement branding and communication campaigns. This is a full-time, on-campus position in Eau Claire.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is required.
• Position requires strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills to interact effectively with donors, alumni, students, board members and staff.
• Must be detail oriented, proficient with Microsoft Office suite and experienced with event planning.

Responsibilities

• Serves as unit liaison for internal and external stakeholders, answers questions, and provides information about established programs based on set material or standards.
• Plans and leads alumni visits and discovery calls, passing leads to major gift officers to cultivate relationships for donor goals.
• Plans and leads the implementation of major alumni events, volunteer committees, and activities in alignment with strategic initiatives and objectives.
• Leads the development, production, and dissemination of communication and branding strategies and materials for the unit.
• Identifies data trends, errors, and variances; reports variances according to policies and procedures.
• Monitors, organizes, and updates donor records, and implements operating policies and procedures.
