Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in alumni relations, engagement, volunteer management, or development.
• Broad experience working with a wide spectrum of volunteers and donors in an outward-facing capacity.
• Represent the School and the Advancement Office with the highest level of professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrates strong management and leadership skills; creative thinking and eagerness to learn.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans for alumni engagement and lead the Alumni Advisory Board.
• Oversee board governance, in alignment with bylaws and volunteer structure of committees and class representatives.
• Lead high-impact signature events such as Homecoming and reunions to grow participation.
• Design programming for the Senior Class and Young Alumni focusing on networking and mentorship.
• Direct regional outreach and affinity networks for 2,000+ alumni.
• Maintain a communications strategy with the Office of Communications and manage newsletters and social channels.
• Create a Measurement Framework and dashboards to monitor KPIs and provide reports to School Leadership.
• Collaborate with Advancement Services to improve data breadth and accuracy.
