Job summary

SVSU seeks a dedicated Coordinator of Alumni Communication to manage communications, digital content, and CRM-driven data initiatives, advancing the Alumni Relations Office's mission and SVSU's image. The role engages alumni and students through newsletters, emails, social media, and targeted communications.

The position collaborates with the Executive Director of Alumni Relations and may require evening/weekend hours and campus-wide engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in alumni relations, client development, student affairs, enrollment management, or customer service-related fields.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs.
Experience with CRM systems and data initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and manage Alumni Website to strengthen alumni engagement.
Coordinate the Alumni Relation’s database and collaborate with other University offices with use of the CRM software.
Coordinate data initiatives, database management, and on-going CRM maintenance.
Execute writing, editing, production, and publication of all communications for the Alumni Relations Office.
Create and maintain all communication tracks for individualized segments of the SVSU Alumni population.
Assist with annual management and implementation of Commencement ceremonies.
Assist with management and implementation of Alumni Relations events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
