The Alumni Communications Project Assistant supports communications projects within the UOAA under the direction of the Director of Alumni Communications. The assistant assists with the successful delivery of assigned projects, supports the use of standardized project management methodologies, processes, and tools, and manages day‑to‑day project management software, organizing project information, blueprints, and request forms.
The assistant develops project timelines, follows up with internal stakeholders, provides project management training and technical support, and documents and organizes project management processes under established guidelines. The role requires balancing short‑term requests with long‑term goals and priorities, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across UOAA.
